Portal User Guide
Last updated: 29 July 2026Report an inaccurate guide
Day-to-day guides for the PartLogic portal: how to find Parts, upload stock files, work with warehouse and handheld flows, administer users and sites, and use reporting. If you do not have an account yet, start with Portal signup.
Who this is for
Catalogue and stores teams who already have portal access and need step-by-step screens for common tasks. Developer and integration topics (API keys, Zapier, Sheets) stay under the Integrations section of these docs.
1. Sign in
Open the PartLogic portal and sign in with your work email and password.
3. Dashboard
The Dashboard summarises Parts Created, Users, AI Calls Used (the portal card may still be labelled AI Tokens Used), and Data Quality. Quick actions typically include Create part, Upload stock file, Run ProductMatch (same Parts Uploader workflow), and Search for parts. Use Review quality → or Manage users → when those cards need attention. For how cards map to plan limits, see Plan & AI usage.

Foundations
Before deep catalogue work, skim the hierarchy Master Product → Customer Site → Device/Storeroom in the Portal data model. For import readiness see Good data practices. For barcode validation and categories on a part see GTIN check on a part (full detail in GTIN check & categories). For seats, AI calls, and capacity see Plan & AI usage.

- Open Parts if you are creating or editing records by hand.
- Open Parts Uploader if you have a spreadsheet ready (Using ProductMatch in Parts Uploader).
- When you need integrations, create an API key with the Portal API key guide.
